Located on arguably the island's best beach on the south western corner of Rarotonga, Heliconia Private Villa is hidden behind gently angled coconut trees on the shores of our turquoise lagoon.

Being absolute beachfront the Villa offers a unique outlook to the reef and white sands to step onto from your front door. All this is located on a marine reserve with abundant marine life and corals.

Contemporary designed tropical bungalow.

Heliconia Villa is spacious (87 square metres) and modern and at the same time designed in the fashion of a traditional thatched Polynesian Pavilion with vaulted ceilings, rich timber floors and superior fittings.

Private and very comfortable the open plan design allows you to enjoy the total space and amenities, while from all angles enjoying what is a most 'unreal view' of the beach and lagoon. The feel within the Villa is unique, offering luxurious accommodation that is equal to any other on the island.

Our Private Villa offers a luxurious standard of holiday living, including a spacious living area with the latest entertainment facilities including a large flat screen TV, DVD, IPOD docking station and surround sound music. The centre piece King Size Heavenly Bed looks out to the magnificent view of the aqua blue lagoon and the breaking reef in the distance.The ensuite tropical bathroom, is made for two and leads to a secluded rear timber deck and an outside under the stars pebble bath and shower.

All this is set in a private bamboo walled courtyard with a lush cooling tropical garden. Boasting a modern kitchen and two separate dining areas the Villa offers options for entertaining as well. On the beach side you have a very large timber balcony deck containing a Gourmet Stainless Steel Barbecue and oven, teak lounges and an outdoor dining setting for four.

Add to this off street parking, air conditioning and overhead fan, walk through robes, double kayak, snorkelling gear, stand up paddle board, teak beach lounges you have it all...and whitest of white sand at your doorstep.

At both of our properties we can arrange those ‘little extra somethings’ that make your holiday special.

A very private Exquisite Massage with the sounds of the lapping of the lagoon waters just a few steps away. We can arrange by appointment a massage of your choice.

By arrangement an in house Gourmet Chef can organised to prepare a 3 course meal with accompanying fine wine served in the luxury ambience of Villa or House.

Why not visit our own Maire Nui Tropical Gardens over the road from our Villa or a short walk for pandanus House. Contained within the 7 acres of lush organic gardens is our Hidden Spirit Cafe, where you can enjoy a sumptuous healthy lunch in the magnificent surrounds of tropical gardens and lily ponds. As a guest of Heliconia you will always receive a preferential price for your day and free admission to the gardens.

Heliconia Private Villa is situated on a marine reserve and you are able to enjoy a swim at your doorstep in warm lagoon waters. Swimming and snorkelling can be enjoyed any day on any tide. You can kayak to the reef only 300 metres from the shore and explore the wonders of our resident marine life including turtles, clams and hundreds of varieties of tropical fish.

Take a walk at sunset and enjoy the colours of what can only be a Cook Island sunset. Take a stroll through our adjoining 7 acre tropical gardens and enjoy our Hidden Spirit Cafe' for one of the islands best lunches. Take a tour of the island by bus or hire a car or motorcycle and enjoy the local scene...it is what makes Rarotonga so special and so different.

Some of the extra outside activities that can be easily accessed nearby are: Biking trails, horse riding, walking trails, Game Fishing, sailing, over the reef snorkeling and diving amongst others. Heliconia Villa is also situated close to some of our islands best restaurants, bars and cafes.
